1971 Ford Torino Cobra 429 SCJ
The 1971 Torino Cobra was the last year for Ford's midsize Cobra SportsRoof. It kept the 1970 Cobra grille theme but arrived in a softer market: higher insurance costs, lower compression across most engines, and a standard 351-4V instead of the 429. The 429 Cobra Jet and Super Cobra Jet path still mattered, but it needs documentation rather than assumptions from Cobra trim alone.
