The GT returned to the Mustang line for 1982 as a three-door hatchback trim. Ford's brochure shows a standard 2.3-liter four-cylinder GT and optional six- and V8 paths, including the 157-hp 5.0 H.O. That means a GT body or badge does not by itself establish a factory 5.0 car.
