Why It Matters
Medium-duty torsion-bar front hardware omitted an anti-roll bar. Special front spring hangers moved the leaf-sprung rear axle two inches forward, giving the A990 a 115-inch wheelbase rather than the ordinary Coronet's 117 inches.
