2024 Ford Mustang GT Performance Package
The S650 Mustang GT Performance Package carries the pony-car formula into a new generation through chassis hardware and calibration. It is an option package for the GT, not the separate Dark Horse model. Ford's U.S. order guide identifies it as 67J.
Hardware beyond the GT badge
The package adds Brembo performance brakes, heavy-duty front springs, a larger rear sway bar, chassis bracing and distinct chassis and electronic-control tuning. A TORSEN differential uses a 3.73:1 axle ratio with the six-speed manual or 3.55:1 with the ten-speed automatic. Fastbacks receive a raised body-color rear wing.
The fourth-generation 5.0-liter Coyote V8 is rated at 480 hp and 415 lb-ft, or 486 hp and 418 lb-ft with optional active-valve performance exhaust. That exhaust option is separate from the Performance Package; neither its output nor Dark Horse specifications should be assigned to every GT package car.
Reading the photograph
The photographer identifies this car as a 2024 Mustang GT. Its bronze multi-spoke wheels match Ford's 64Z design, which the order guide pairs with the Bronze Appearance and GT Performance packages. The raised rear wing corroborates that interpretation. This is a visually supported representative exterior, not a VIN or build-sheet authentication; the photographer did not explicitly name the Performance Package. Hidden equipment, originality and the pictured car's transmission are not authenticated. Production totals and original pricing remain unresolved.
