1998 Buick Regal GS
The Regal GS combines a four-door Buick sedan with the supercharged 3800 Series II V6. Its output and engine identity remain distinct from the naturally aspirated Regal LS.
Evidence boundaries
The explicit 1998 GS comparison insert establishes the model-year package and its principal specifications. GM's 1998 owner's manual independently identifies the supercharged L67 engine and records 231 CID; this is not a conversion of nominal liters. The manual also establishes the automatic transaxle and front-wheel-drive layout.
The brochure scan contains a 1997½ website image as well as the 1998 insert. Details outside the exact-year insert are not silently treated as 1998 equipment evidence. Final-drive ratio, transmission code and gear count, generation boundaries, production totals and acceleration figures remain unasserted in this review.
