The AMA identifies the 426 VP2 rear suspension as parallel longitudinal, semi-elliptical asymmetrical chromium-alloy springs, 56 x 2.5 inches, 112 lb/in, 110 lb/in at the wheel including the tire, and 5.5 leaves, with no rear stabilizer or track bar. The parts catalog identifies Maximum Performance non-wagon springs 2495 060 right and 2495 061 left; its station-wagon rows are 2495 058 right and 2495 059 left.
