- The final December 1973 parts catalog assigns Challenger/Barracuda standard torsion-bar pair 1857774-5 and heavy-duty pair 1857778-9. Challenger service rows list front shock package 3402417 for both standard and heavy-duty applications, standard rear shock package 3402411, and heavy-duty rear shock package 3402415. Rear spring assemblies are 3744421 for the 318 and 3549059 for the 340, with 3549059 also appearing in the combined Challenger/Barracuda heavy-duty application. The catalog does not establish A57 installation, supplier or component dates, supersessions, or the parts fitted to an individual car.
