Mercury's October 13, 1967 AMA sheet specifies self-adjusting, dual-circuit Duo-Servo drums with riveted molded-asbestos linings. Depending on the regular-MX body and engine path, effective lining area is 129.7, 146.6, or 165.2 square inches; gross lining area is 154.7, 174.0, or 193.4 square inches; and swept area is 251.4, 282.8, or 314.2 square inches. The separate 390 GT standard-disc column is not applied to a regular MX.
