Story
2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392
This is the production Rubicon 392, not the earlier concept or an aftermarket engine conversion. Jeep's November 2020 introduction documents the factory V8 application and automatic transmission.
Keep package specifications separate
The launch configuration uses 3.73 axle gearing and 33-inch tires. Jeep subsequently announced Xtreme Recon availability for the Rubicon 392 in June 2021, with 4.56 gearing and 35-inch tires. These are distinct configurations, not interchangeable standard specifications. The same announcement's six-speed manual and 4.88 gearing apply to another Rubicon configuration, not this V8 automatic.
Evidence and photography
The manufacturer specification sheet supplies output rpm, injection and stated displacement. Its document metadata says 2022 Product Information, but the visible title and page footers consistently identify 2021; the dated production and package releases corroborate the application. Acceleration claims and production totals are omitted. No reusable exact-year exterior has been accepted, so imagery remains pending and collection membership deferred.
