2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat
The Durango SRT Hellcat brings supercharged American performance to the utility branch of the catalog. This page covers the 2021 Hellcat program, distinct from the naturally aspirated SRT 392.
Hellcat powertrain
Dodge specifies a 376-cubic-inch, 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8 producing 710 bhp at 6100 rpm and 645 lb-ft at 4300 rpm. The 8HP95 eight-speed automatic works with full-time all-wheel drive and a 3.70:1 axle ratio. A separate low-temperature cooling circuit serves the intercoolers.
Reading the photograph
The photographer identifies the pictured car as a 2021 Durango. Although the original caption calls it a 392, the visible supercharger and Hellcat badges support the Hellcat identification used here. The caption's 6.4-liter specification is not used. The photograph is a representative exterior, not authentication of a VIN, options or originality. Production totals and original pricing remain unresolved.
