2002 Ford Focus SVT

The Focus SVT brought Ford's Special Vehicle Team program to a compact three-door hatchback. This page covers the North American 2002 model, not an ordinary Focus, the European ST170 or the RS.

Documented configuration

Ford's exact-year brochure documents the SVT-specific engine and six-speed transaxle. The transmission uses two output shafts with different final-drive ratios; a single unqualified axle ratio would misrepresent its design.
