Story

1993 Pontiac Firebird Formula

The Formula is a distinct V8 application in Pontiac's redesigned 1993 Firebird range. Its specifications must not be combined with the base V6 car, the Trans Am's equipment package or the separately named Firehawk program.

Evidence boundaries

The brochure's model table establishes the Formula's engine and transmission choices. Output rpm follows its LT1 engine description; the owner's manual explicitly gives 350 CID for the code-P V8, rather than relying on rounded-liter conversion. Detailed injection strategy and transmission-specific axle ratios remain unasserted. Production counts and acceleration claims remain open.
