Story
1987 Plymouth Turismo
Plymouth's 1987 brochure describes the Turismo as a three-door, front-wheel-drive car. Its powertrain chart lists one standard 2.2-liter four and manual or automatic transaxles. The 135-cubic-inch figure is the factory designation, retained as printed.
Equipment and application boundaries
Duster discount packages add equipment to the Turismo; this generic record is not limited to one package. Automatic availability carries the brochure's package requirement. California emissions equipment is separately qualified in the original chart. Overall top gear ratios are not represented here as differential ratios.
Evidence gaps and photo pending
The brochure's electronic fuel-control wording does not establish injection hardware or turbocharging. Exact metering hardware, engine code and final-drive ratio remain unresolved. Earlier Turismo 2.2 specifications and Dodge performance-model equipment are not substituted. The source images are research evidence, not licensed publication assets; exact-year reusable exterior photography remains pending.
