1983 AMC Spirit GT

The 1983 Spirit GT represents AMC's compact performance program near the end of the Spirit's run. AMC's exact-year full-line brochure documents the Spirit's 4.2-liter engine as an inline OHV six with a nominal displacement of 258 cubic inches—not a V6.
